A House of Prayer for All Nations
Prayer is what keeps the ministries of Living Hope moving forward. In prayer we lay aside our own agendas and discover what God wants done! "The Lord foils the plans of the nations; he thwarts the purposes of the peoples. But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations" (Psalm 33:10-11). Prayer aligns us with his plans, his purposes, his heart, and his desires.
Jesus said that he came that we might have life, and have it excessively (John 10:10). Excessive life is life overflowing; it is life that transcends boundaries and overcomes every restriction. The result of prayerlessness is that we only experience a fraction of what Jesus died to purchase for us. There is an abundant life awaiting every believer, but to access it you have to spend focused time in fervent prayer. Are you ready?

The Gospel for the Poor
Local outreach is another important aspect of the ministries of Living Hope. In Genesis 28, Jacob had a dream in which he saw a ladder reaching into the heavens and resting on the earth. God was at the top of the ladder, and the angels of God were ascending and descending upon it. When Jacob awoke he exclaimed, "This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven." What Jacob discovered is that the house of God is supposed to be the gate of heaven.
Through local outreach ministries, Living Hope releases heaven's resources to the surrounding community through weekly food and clothing giveaways, yearly block outreaches, harvest festivals, kid's camps, and more! We also send volunteers to the Emery Unified School district as a means of blessing the city.

Current Events
We recently watched a powerful documentary on human trafficking called Nefarious: Merchant of Soul in Berkeley, California. To find a viewing in your area, visit http://nefariousdocumentary.com/screenings/tour/ We soon will be having a fundraiser for a local safe house for rescued girls. For more information contact Jermaine Hughes at: 510-499-8116
Not Forgotten Faces is an organization established to bring freedom to the forgotten faces of victims of human trafficking one life at a time by rescuing victims of modern day slavery, restoring them to the full experience of their God given human dignity, and working to reverse the conditions that give rise to the reality of human trafficking.
There are 30 million victims of modern day slavery in the world today. They are forced into sexual slavery, labor, domestic servitude, armed conflict, begging networks, or bought and sold for their body parts. Victims of this horrific market suffer repeated rapes, beatings, forced abortions, mental abuse and isolation.
NFF works toward the abolition of modern-day slavery through three primary endeavors: Project One Life (rescues victims one life at a time), Project Restoration (places rescued victims in environments that foster healing and recovery), and Project Freedom (fosters prevention through education and economic development). NFF has established funding to rescue those who are being trafficked in Cambodia, and currently, we have funded a years worth of rescuing.
Adopt-a-Child
Adopt-a-Child is a monthly sponsorship program that provides Food, Shelter, Clean Water, School Fees and other daily needs. Currently, 100% of all the support we receive is given directly to the homes and orphanages that provide for the children in our program. There are many needs, many children and we can't help them all but we start with one. We help the one and we become a part of something bigger by changing one life at a time.
Adopt-a-Child Sponsorship, since its inception in 2005 has provided support for over 100 children. As of November 2011 Adopt-a-Child Sponsorship Program has 2 main orphanages and homes we partner with. The first partner is Cinta Kasih Orphanage in Teluk Dalam, Nias Island, Indonesia and they house 26 children and youth. Our second partner is Proyecto Juvenil Boy's Home in Rosarito, Tijuana, Mexico. The home is currently housing 7 teen boys and 2 children.
We also have provided micro business opportunities such as pig farms in Indonesia, allowing economic sustainability for parents to be able to keep their children and directors to sustain daily living in orphanages in absence of monthly support. We are currently looking into partnering with an orphanage in Myanmar, Berma.
We are currently looking for people who are looking to join us by sponsoring a child or a director. It is$32 a month for Child sponsorship, and $52 a month for Director sponsorship
Currently, we still have about 15 children in Teluk Dalam, Nias Island, Indonesia that need monthly sponsorship. If you are interested in donating to the program or sponsoring a child let us know.
